Vietnamese women, like these market sellers, really are the heart and soul of this culture. Vietnamese men do their part for sure, but without the women keeping their eyes on things, this country would almost certainly go off the rails.
I came across your website when I Googled the name of a story I had written and which was published in an online journal, and the listings that came up included your photos of Viet Nam. I thought this was a strangle coincidence, but since my story mentions Viet Nam, the algorithm must have “taken note” of that. I doubt that the algorithm figured out that we knew each other long ago at U of Michigan.
