Dark clouds and threatening weather bring out the magnificent greens of new leaves. I was on my bike trying to make it to the supermarket and back home without getting caught in the rain. But I could not resist the light and the color. I made it home dry and with food for dinner in any case.
We went from shirt sleeve days to cold, wet October snow virtually overnight. I am posting this about 24 hours after shooting the image. The sun has just come out and the snow is already starting to melt.
