These pedicab drivers are lined up taking a midday break along one of the hutong which wind around Houhai. Tours of the hutong around Houhai, one of the few areas of the Beijing with at least some of the traditional buildings and feel of the old city still intact, are popular with both Chinese and foreign visitors. The cabs themselves, like a great many other things in Beijing, have had a bit of a refit in anticipation of Olympic tourists. |
